Bike Festival and Ride July 11-13th in Maine
Who wants to do this century ride with me July 11-13 in Fryeburg, Me (3 hour drive) There are also other distances. It’s a weekend rally. Looks like fun. Check it out at www.bikemaine.org
There is a Century ride the following weekend too, but my Danskin team will be racing that weekend and I MUST be there with them

I would LOVE to do this one!!! I actually have a really good friend who lives in Fryeburg, Maine! I’m doing danskin too!
Great Marie. You should plan to build your weekly mileage up to 100 miles then especially if you are doing Danskin the weekend after. I can’t do this century ride because I am coaching the MetroWest Danskin program and this ride is the weekend before the race and I have to be at the training (http://www.teamdanskin.com/events/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10_67&products_id=38).
I have been upping my miles pretty gradually, When I was in SC I did 42 miles one day (but it was flat, flat, oh so very flat) After Sudbury is over, I’m going to start cranking back up again for the summer - We’re going to be in Bar Harbor the last week in June, I want to be cranked up by then!!!! It’s all about the weather, If I could string a few good days together!
No kidding about the weather, it’s killing me and messing up my training schedule !! Next week I was hoping for a great vacation week with lots of fun activities (kayak, golf, hiking) and getting in some good training miles but its supposed to rain ALL WEEK in W. Virginia too! Too funny. Patriot should be an interesting 1/2 iron to do on July 5th when I haven’t been able to put in adequate time to train. Oh well—BIG PICTURE— Ironman Florida.
