Hey, welcome all to the new post!

Stan, I have two things to say:
1. Congrats on your podium finish. Remember that this is what is possible when you actually listen to your coach and train!
2. No more sandbagging!!! You can no longer complain to me (or anyone on the team) that you are not fast enough. You beat the pants off of me and finished on the podium! No complaining!

2 Karen { 08.16.10 at 7:07 pm }

Hi Doug – Thanks for the new blog.
Karen

3 Angela { 08.17.10 at 7:44 am }

anyone want to volunteer with me for the Cran Tri? we can ride together :)

4 Angela { 08.17.10 at 8:04 am }

sorry PS: looking to go on Sunday Aug 29th is the Olympic Tri to do the volunteer! Let me know :)

5 Rebekah { 08.17.10 at 8:13 am }

Hey All! Going in for my thumb surgery today, so I won’t be training for a while – but I wish you all lots of luck & will be back as soon as I can!!!

6 Diane { 08.17.10 at 8:23 am }

That would be great for you to volunteer Angela, Kim, Karen, Marie and I will be doing it! There are also two relays from FitBricks doing it.

7 Angela { 08.18.10 at 6:56 am }

anyone upf for any trail running?

8 Diane { 08.18.10 at 8:55 am }

Great triangle swim for the first time for Karen and Jess this morning. Nice job! What a beautiful morning for a swim.

9 Steve D { 08.18.10 at 9:09 am }

Way to go guys on the swim! I don’t think we will be as ambitious tonight. See the 6:30pm group tonight!

10 gretchen { 08.18.10 at 12:40 pm }

Yes , I will see you tonight. And I agree don’t think I’m up for the triangle!

11 Diane { 08.18.10 at 8:56 pm }

Thanks for Volunteering at Cranberry Angela, we’ll love seeing you on the course. Anyone else want to volunteer? They could use a few more.

12 Gretchen { 08.18.10 at 9:10 pm }

Steve D. thanks so much for helping me tonight…those couple of tweaks and I progressed more tonight than I have in 3 years! That was amazing.

Dot & Steve…are you up to swimming again on Saturday morning – around 7:00 a.m. We could do a brick – swim bike. Unless the session two is meeting on Saturdays. In any case do you both want to meet again next Wednesday evening?

Anyone else up for a swim/bike brick on Sat morning…I could do Chauncy, Hopkinton or Walden.

13 Dot { 08.19.10 at 6:48 am }

Gretchen, I would be interested in a swim/bike brick on Saturday morning. If we are going to do 7:00AM it would be better for me at Chauncy but which lake is better for you? I had a great swim last night, my first open water swim since last year. I felt strong and was able to work on my position in the water. I think I am going to sign up for TDD. Worse case I walk more than I run because I will not be up to 3 miles in my current training program but it would be nice to end the season with one tri at least. Karen thank you for the noodle loan! I gave all of my noddles to the Westboro tri on Sunday. I will get it to Diane today for you or I could meet you somewhere? I need to do a bike today, is anyone planning a ride? It is really getting boring riding by myself.

14 Mary { 08.19.10 at 8:28 am }

Diane – what is a good vel to shoot for when climbing hills? Is it still 90 or does it drop to the 60’s?

15 Diane { 08.19.10 at 9:26 am }

Mary, if you can go up the hill at 90 RPMs then you are probably not in a hard enough gear. But, it depends if you are talking hill repeats or on a long ride. If hill repeats you want to build power so a smaller RPM is good 60-70 but really push up each hill. If on a long ride, or in a triathlon and you are trying to get up the hill as efficiently as possible but not burn out your legs, 70-80 is better. Make sense?

16 Steve D { 08.19.10 at 10:08 am }

Sorry, but still confused on hill repeats. Are we looking at HRM at all or is it all cadence? Out of the saddle or hardest pedal in the saddle. At top of hill will probably be zone 5. Do I wait to HR comes down to zone 2 before hitting the hill again or just cruise down hill and go again? First hill repeats tomorrow and want to make sure I get it right!

17 Diane { 08.19.10 at 10:22 am }

Steve, I was going to go over this tonight too, but the name of the game IN A TRIATHLON is to preserve energy but get up the hill as fast as possible. On hill repeats because you are doing way more than you would do in a race, you need to make sure you can make it through the workout. HR is going to be pretty high, so focus on your cadence. I would suggest every other hill repeat at the top for YOU to get out of the saddle and push it up over the crest of the hill-otherwise you are seated.

Please note, this doesn’t apply to every athlete, so if you want to know if YOU should do it, contact me and we can discuss your strategy.

Getting out of the saddle take a lot of energy and won’t work for everyone. We can discuss further tonight.

18 gretchen { 08.19.10 at 12:45 pm }

Dot I will see you on Saturday at 7 at chauncy. Then we can ride the either the ride from race Saturday or another route.

Anyone else want to join us this Saturday?

19 Steve D { 08.19.10 at 1:16 pm }

Gretchen,
Great Swim last night! I can’t make it next Wed, since we are headed to Maine for the week for last hurrah before school starts for the kids.

Sat we have group session at Title IX course so can’t make the swim with you and Dot.

Rebekah, If you are following the blog – We are thinking about you and wish you a fast recovery. Hang in there!

20 Dot { 08.19.10 at 5:15 pm }

Gretchen, I just mappeda 6.6 mile bike course from Chauncey for Saturday is that what you had in mind? It is leave parking lot and tuen left onto Lyman, right after the beach and head to the club, pass the Westboro Courthouse, right onto 135, right onto Brigham (this is the Westboro tri course so far), turn right onto Collins, right onto Ridge, right onto Lyman back to Chauncey parking lot. I thought if we did a 1/8 swim and a 6 mile bike this is half a tri course?? Sound Ok?

21 gretchen { 08.19.10 at 8:48 pm }

Sounds good to me since I might not be at full strength. I pulled my right calf tonight running. It had been just getting sore on me…but tonight it gave out. I’m hobbling around the house right now very frustrated. But it doesn’t bother me when I bike oe swim…so that is good.

Everyone have a good Friday tomorrow and rebekah we are all definitely thinking about you!

I received the team spirit award on Saturday…but Rebekah is really the epitome of team spirit especially showing up to the race the day after she broke her hand, in pain, just to cheer us all on!

22 Dot { 08.20.10 at 5:56 pm }

Gretchen,
Are you sure your calf is OK to do the brick? We could always do the swim and bike slowly. I will see you tomorrow morning at 7:00 unless I hear otherwise!

23 Gretchen { 08.20.10 at 6:37 pm }

Hi Dot – I’m walking lots better today. It’s sore, but I know from the past that I’ve been able to bike and swim with it and not have any problems. If it’s bothering me while we are doing it, I’ll let you know I need to back off. It’s letting me know what I can and can’t do!

24 Rebekah { 08.20.10 at 8:21 pm }

Thanks Fitbricks Team for the Fruit Basket!! That was so thoughtful!!! Hope you are all well!!!

25 Lisa Spellman { 08.21.10 at 6:38 am }

Hey: I thought I could do the morning workout today and then get ready to go on vacation later today, but I think I was in lala land! Too many things to do to be able to take the time today, especially since we were at a wedding last night til way too late. I will see you all when I get back after next weekend! Rebekah: hopes for a quick healing!

26 Barbara { 08.21.10 at 10:47 am }

Lisa we missed you! Enjoy your vacation and we’ll see you when you get back!
Session II – great ride today! Kim awesome job on your bike with it being stuck in the highest gear! You rock girl! Steve hopefully you learned your lesson, don’t follow Rich! LOL! No, usually he has a great sense of direction! For the Thursday night group Rich made up for his shorten ride with an extra long one today, so all is good! Have a great weekend everyone!

27 Diane { 08.23.10 at 8:01 am }

Steve and I are swimming in the triangle TUES morning at 6:30am (in the water at 6:30) if anyone is interested. Rachel is having surgery on Wed so I can’t swim then.

28 Diane { 08.23.10 at 11:18 am }

FYI for those of you doing Cranberry this weekend. Water temp is 80 degrees right now. It will have to drop 2 degrees for it to be “wetsuit legal”. You are ready to swim sans wetsuits, so no panicking–just mentally prep for it.

29 Mary { 08.23.10 at 5:46 pm }

I am swimming the triangle on Wed. Do you think I should go without the wetsuit? Do you think this cool rain will cool Cranberry enough for wetsuits?

30 Diane { 08.23.10 at 6:07 pm }

Well, my thought is you should swim to the hospital and back without the wetsuit. Doing the triangle (for only your second time-first time with the wetsuit) this time without your wetsuit during race week is probably not the best idea.

31 Diane { 08.24.10 at 5:09 am }

oh, and I’m GUESSING the rain and cooler temps will drop it 2 degrees.

32 Barbara { 08.24.10 at 6:27 am }

Mary, Jess, Kim and whoever else is swimming on Wednesday the swim to the hospital is fine with me so you can practice without wetsuits. We can tackle the triangle again next week =)

33 Dot { 08.24.10 at 9:09 am }

Barbara, what time are you swimming to the hospital? I do not want to do the triangle but would like to do the shorter swim.

34 Diane { 08.24.10 at 10:33 am }

Here is the official notice from Sunmultisport on water temp:

Water Temperature and Wet Suits:
All participants may wear a wet suit and be eligible for rankings and prizes if the water temperature is less than 78 degrees F. If the temperature is between 79 and 84 degrees F, participants wearing a wet suit will not receive a ranking or be eligible for awards (they will still receive split times). If the temperature exceeds 84 degrees F, no participants will be allowed to wear a wet suit.

The temperature of Loon Pond on Sunday, August 22nd was 80 degrees F. We are hopeful that the rain and cooler temperatures forecasted for the early part of the week of August 22nd will help lower the water temperature to 78 degrees so that the Cranberry Trifest sprint and olympic are wetsuit legal races, but, as always, the official water temperature won’t be known until race morning. Bring your wet suit! You can always leave it in the car…

35 Barbara { 08.24.10 at 11:04 am }

Dot, I think we are meeting at 6:00 am. I think we are swimming to the hospital, some are practicing without wetsuits, I’ll be wearing mine =) Not sure if it is still a go with rain, everyone let us know if you plan on swimming even in the rain.

36 Karen { 08.24.10 at 12:10 pm }

Some of us ducklings swam today in the rain, but the water was a little choppy…and each duckling was towing their own noodle.
We went out and back to the hospital instead of doing the triangle due to the weather conditions.

37 melissa { 08.24.10 at 2:51 pm }

Paddling into the waves and head wind coming from the north was a bit of a challenge – but the distinctive flavor of Lake Chauncy is a great reminder to keep your head down & mouth closed :-)

38 Melissa { 08.26.10 at 9:13 am }

Hi everyone,

My email account seems to have picked up a bug or worm or something & is randomly sending out email with odd pictures attached. So, if you receive an email that says it’s from me during the next few days please don’t open it & definately don’t click on any pictures. The local computer bug doctor is trying to fix it so if you need to reach me please call (Diane has no.)

Best of luck to everyone racing Cranberry this weekend – should be another stong FitBricks showing.

39 Leslie { 08.27.10 at 1:24 pm }

Good luck to everyone racing Cranberry this weekend. Go Fitbricks!

40 Gretchen { 08.27.10 at 6:12 pm }

Good luck to everyone this weekend – you are going to have fantastic weather!

41 Barbara { 08.28.10 at 7:43 pm }

Yes, good luck to everyone racing tomorrow! I’m looking forward to watching and cheering you all on! Go Fitbricks!

42 Kate { 08.29.10 at 3:03 pm }

The FitBricks athletes have my utmost respect and awe, so how do I say that was brought to a new level at the Cranberry Tri today?! Both racers and volunteers – you are amazing. Thanks for getting me across that finish line!

43 Diane { 08.29.10 at 3:20 pm }

Kate, I am soooo proud of you for sticking that out. What mental toughness you have!
Jess, congrats on a fabulous swim.
Mert- you too persevered with having to change 2 tires!
Karen, great attitude! With your flat and all you had a great day. You are so ready to tackle Pumpkinman.

Kim, you did fantastically! Next year you have a benchmark. NOW you can rest :-)

44 Diane { 08.29.10 at 3:20 pm }

oh, and how about all of the comments that FitBricks has THE BEST uniforms :-)

45 Barbara { 08.29.10 at 3:36 pm }

Just need to say the Fitbricks team RULES! You guys were amazing today!

46 Karen { 08.29.10 at 6:39 pm }

WOW! What a day…a GREAT day!
Everyone did a great job, and having the FitBricks cheering section…now that was THE BEST!
I had actually managed to change my back tire and then noticed the holes in the tire…that did me in for awhile until Landry’s came to my rescue with a new tire and tube :-)

47 Leslie { 08.30.10 at 7:56 am }

Congratulations to you all!!

Now I have to get into Cranberry for next year so I can race alongside you!

48 Diane { 08.30.10 at 7:58 am }

Yay Leslie, absolutely you’ll be ready. Looks like we’ll have a great contingent!

49 Doug { 08.30.10 at 8:04 am }

Wow, maybe with all these folks signed up I will get guilted into doing Cranberry next year!

It is a great race, glad to hear everybody enjoyed it.

50 Diane { 08.30.10 at 8:26 am }

Oh Doug, you MUST get your butt in gear next year and join us. You like this race. It’s a great re-birth goal for you :-)

51 Doug { 08.30.10 at 8:28 am }

Yes, but now I have to worry about being beat by 30 other fb folks… liked it better when it was just Bruno.

52 Diane { 08.30.10 at 8:31 am }

No, look at it as a challenge! Speaking of Bruno….hmmm…just maybe we can guilt him into doing it :-)

53 Karen { 08.30.10 at 10:18 am }

Doug,
I though of you may times during my swim yesterday. Especially when half way trhough the swim the next wave of male swimmers caught up to me….and then swam right over me!!

54 Karen { 08.30.10 at 10:45 am }

Leslie,
You HAVE to do the Cranberry olympic next year. The bike is SO flat compared to Marlborough…it will be a breeze for you.

55 Mary { 08.30.10 at 11:02 am }

“The bike is so flat compared to…”. I think we need to clarify that the bike is New England “flat”. It’s not Oklahoma or Iowa flat. I think I would have preferred two or three monster hills to the ever so slight incline over for 256 miles.

It was a great day and agree that FitBricks needs to put up a show of force next year.

56 Karen { 08.30.10 at 11:05 am }

Mary you are right…didn’t mean to give the wrong impression.
I agree with your comments and will add “a few rolling hills” to the overall course too :-)

57 Karen { 08.30.10 at 5:55 pm }

If anyone is interested in doing the Scituate Duathlon on October 17 the race is almost full.
I did this last year and have registered for this year too. It was a little chilly by the water last year, but very scenic and a fun event.
http://www.scituateduathlon.com/

58 Kate { 08.30.10 at 6:51 pm }

Diane – Who’s Bruno?

59 Diane { 08.30.10 at 7:00 pm }

He’s Mine and Doug’s neighbor and “the middle child” of our three-some riding that we used to do before work. But both of my
“brothers” dropped me this summer!

60 Kate { 08.31.10 at 6:26 am }

GASP! Someone slipped out of the vortex?! Come on Bruno – if you are following along, jump in the fray! Karen – you were awesome – I had no idea that some of the guys swam right over you!

61 Karen { 08.31.10 at 7:38 am }

Kate – It was kind of funny….like a tidal wave of “green caps”.

62 Steve D { 08.31.10 at 9:23 am }

Garmin Forerunner Question:
I have noticed a preponderance of Garmin Forerunners on the team – all different models ( 305, 405, 310XT, and 405CX). I need to get one and am unsure which is best. The garmin website hasn’t been much help. For those using them, any input if you are happy with yours or would you get a different one if you had to do it again. I need it just for the run and swim,since Garmin bike computer is working great! Thanks.

63 Jim Bruce { 08.31.10 at 9:52 am }

Buy it from Wal-mart.com you’ll get the best price!

64 Jim Bruce { 08.31.10 at 9:53 am }

I saw Bruno at Brittney’s and he’s out for the summer. Maybe next year he’ll be back

65 Diane { 08.31.10 at 10:00 am }

Yah, he is focusing on the kid coaching thing :-)

Steve, I have the older version that is not to be used in the water but works well for bike and run. Kim and Karen have the new version that can be used for all 3. Mine is down to $150 theirs is still at $400. I also purchased the cadence meter for my bike which I like for training.

66 Diane { 08.31.10 at 12:40 pm }
67 Karen { 08.31.10 at 1:05 pm }

Steve-
I have the 310XT and to my understanding it is the only waterproof option available. All others are water resistant and not recommended for use while swimming.
I had the 305 for 4 years and loved it too, but it is not recommended for swimming.
I know that Timex has a new GPS enabled device too, but again, I beleive it is on ly water resistant.

68 Karen { 08.31.10 at 1:08 pm }

Steve-
The Garmin 310XT can also be used with a heart rate monitor (included) and cadence meter (purchase separately).

69 Kate { 08.31.10 at 1:33 pm }

omg diane – how did i go from living as a happy couch potato to a member of an official triathlon team!

70 Barbara { 08.31.10 at 2:09 pm }

Congrats Diane and Fitbricks Team!!! Now we really have to pick it up, we are official – can’t just rely on the uniforms making us look good anymore ;)

71 Lisa S { 08.31.10 at 2:17 pm }

Hey! I thought that Diane always says that triathaloning is a sport about looking good! Or wait, is it about NOT looking good?!!! Aren’t the uniforms charged with superpowers so we bike harder and run faster?
Maybe camping in Nova Scotia addled my brain…

72 Barbara { 08.31.10 at 2:20 pm }

Oh Lisa definitely it is about looking good but I think now being an official triathlon team we may need to pick up our performance?! I didn’t know about the super powers – which button on my suit contains these? :)

73 Steve D { 08.31.10 at 2:21 pm }

I think it is more of an addiction….Congrats to a great team! BTW, count me in for Cranberry next year too!

74 Diane { 08.31.10 at 2:29 pm }

Sorry Kate, it’s that vortex thing going on :-)
Oh Steve, you’ve got it bad!

BTW, Dicks Sporting Goods is having a huge sale on bathing suits and goggles. Might be a good time to pick something up for the fall and winter pool sessions.

75 Dot { 09.01.10 at 8:47 am }

You guys are killing me! Here I am trying to get up to two miles running and everyone is moving up. Only kidding, I am proud of the dedication and drive. Quick questions, I am having a hard time keeping up with my biking because I am running every other day to build my knee up. I still swim three times a week but can only get one bike ride in a week and I am only doing ten miles because my legs are tired. Anyone have any suggestions on how to juggle all three or should I just concentrate on the running and worry about the bike in the future?

76 Barbara { 09.01.10 at 10:25 am }

Hey Dot my take on your situation is you should concentrate on the run, if the doctor wants you running everyother day to build up the knee then that is what you should do. This is the doctor’s order right :) , your bike is fantastic, you will get it back in no time. And I think the swims are great compliments to your running, so I would keep those up. Most important is to get you back 100% so you can kick all our butts next year (maybe that is how you hurt you knee in the first place…hmmm). This is just my amateur opinion, certainly follow Diane’s and your doctors recommendations.

77 Jessica { 09.01.10 at 10:27 am }

Steve, I have the Garmin 305 and like it a lot. When I was off shopping for it at REI and studying all the models, the guy helping me said to avoid the Garmin 405 as he felt it was overpriced for the features. He narrowed it down to the 305 or 310xt for triathletes. In the end, the other key point he told me is that the 310xt although meant for water does not get an accurate signal when in the water which often times will cause you to show a significant amount more distance (usually double).

78 Diane { 09.01.10 at 11:20 am }

Dot, I agree with what Barbara is saying and you don’t have any tris until next spring so don’t worry about it yet. Build your strength and get your bike on the trainer in a month or two when you can drop down to running, biking and swimming each 2x/week. You will need to keep up your strengthening activities too over the winter so you are in good shape into the spring.

79 Diane { 09.01.10 at 1:54 pm }

Made my mani/pedi/hair appt for after all of my races in Oct and before my long weekend in PR. Thanks again for the great gift! Anyone want to do a day of decadence with me let me know and I’ll give you the details of the day and time. It’s in Oct :-)

80 Diane { 09.01.10 at 2:09 pm }

Hi Everyone,

I am registering FitBricks as a USAT club and I will need the names, USAT #s, DOB for each club member. Can you please send me an email with this info if you want to be a member of the FitBricks Club Team. What does this mean you ask? It means we can race under the club name, and compete in club nationals if we choose to. We can decided as a group. Right now the dues will be nothing, but if we decide to do more things as a team, we might want to have a board of officers and collect nominal yearly fees (say $25). But, again we don’t have to decide this now. Send me an email with the above info if you want to join.

81 Jessica { 09.01.10 at 2:13 pm }

All I can picture right now is the Jamaican Bobsled team!

82 Diane { 09.01.10 at 2:15 pm }

LOL and they LOOKED good too !

83 Kathleen Delgado { 09.01.10 at 3:58 pm }

Had to migrate to a new machine to getting back on this

84 Dot { 09.02.10 at 6:12 am }

Thanks for the comments. I am going to cut back on the bike since it does bother my knee if I am not careful. I do not know about kicking anyone’s butt anymore. My knee is sore today and I am freaking out. Mike did say I would have bad runs but…

85 Barbara { 09.02.10 at 6:22 am }

Listen to your body Dot!! It is trying to tell you something if you are hurting. Back off a little, remember slow and steady wins the race – I don’t know if you have a slow and steady pace but try it :) We want you back competing with us next year not sitting on the sideline, listen to that body!

86 Kate { 09.02.10 at 9:16 am }

Dot – I agree with Diane and Barbara! You are a fabulous athlete – take care of your knee, slowly build strength. You will be back kicking butt in no time! @Diane – oooo I might be up for a day of pampering…!

87 Dot { 09.02.10 at 10:21 am }

OK. Not listening to my body is what got me where I am right now so thank you for reminding me. I usually do not run every other day even when I was training for the half. So I think I am going to back off and not run every other day but try twice a week. It will take longer to build but at this point I do not need to run 3 miles yet. I have not been thinking on my own about running for so long I panicked (Mike has been managing every move I made) and I do know how to do this!!
Diane I want to register for the Fitbricks team but I do not have a USAT number do I need one now?

88 Barbara { 09.02.10 at 10:33 am }

Hallelujah Dot!

89 Diane { 09.02.10 at 11:14 am }

Dot, you don’t need one now- not sure if you need one eventually, but I’ll put you on the list. Need you to email me your b-day

Kate, would LOVE to have you enjoy the girls pampering! Will email you the date/time

90 melissa { 09.02.10 at 3:26 pm }

Hi Guys,
With the deterioration of lovey Lake Chauncy’s water quality to a level that may seriously compromise the health and sanity of anyone foolish, blind or Triathlon-Training-Crazed enough to get wet in it I offer an alternative. Bare Hill Pond in Harvard is only weedy not slimey. So… if anyone would like to join me next week – the ropes are down after Labor Day – AM or PM or anytime inbetween, I would be happy to introduce you to open water swimming without the floating goo.

91 melissa { 09.03.10 at 2:02 pm }

Anybody want to join me as a swim buddy at the Title IX Tri on 9/12 oin Hopkinton? Just in case you Guys might be interested in being surrounded by hundreds of women… you’re invited, too. http://www.evite.com/pages/invite/viewInvite.jsp?inviteId=IRZGCQRCDXDZWWWGBPQR&li=iq&src=email

92 melissa { 09.03.10 at 3:02 pm }

Ok, looks like I’m monopolizing this Blog. One more then I’ll be quiet. My husband has designed 4 rides at different distances through Harvard this Sunday sponsored by the Nashoba Valley Peddlers. They all start in Harvard center at 10am. Here’s the link http://www.nvpbike.org/thyme/index.php?event_action=View&eid=913&instance=2010-9-5
If anyone’s interested let me know – maybe we can put together our own mini FitBricks team.

93 Diane { 09.03.10 at 4:15 pm }

I’ll go Melissa

94 melissa { 09.03.10 at 7:00 pm }

Great! I’ll join for a flat (if I can find it) 10 mi. All the distances are beautiful – Daniel planned them to take advantage of the scenery and the ice cream.

95 Diane { 09.03.10 at 8:43 pm }

Perfect. I’ll ride my bike to Harvard then join up with them at the start, then end at the cottage. Guess I’m needing to build my bike distance now :-)

96 Karen { 09.04.10 at 8:58 am }

Melissa – I would be up for a nice and easy 10 miles too, I’m starting my taper week.
Is there some type of landmark in Harvard center where you will be meeting?
Thanks-Karen

Melissa, I’ll gladly volunteer for the swim buddy. I can’t rsvp through that evite link though because I’m not on the invite list. Do you have Laura’s email so I can send her note? Thanks!

Karen – I’m off the bike for the next few days :( Quad needs more rest. The group is meeting in the parking lot of The Bromfield School in Harvard at 10am. There’s a map on the link above. Check with Diane on her plans. There is a 15mi route that Daniel calls “rolling” – there is one long climb at the end – not steep – just long. Wish I could join you – should be a perfect day.

Leslie,
Great! Should be fun. I sent an evite to your email address – let me know if you don’t get it.

Diane will meet the group at Bromfield School at 10am. Looking forward to it.

Melissa-Bummer about your quad still being in recovery.
Can you swim?

Who is racing in Title 9 with me? Jess, Shelly and Leslie are in the water as swim angels? Anyone else competing?
