The lowest Glycemic index grains are whole wheat Spaghetti, Barley, Brown Rice and All Bran.  

The medium GI load foods are:  Oatmeal, Life, Couscous.

I am not a Dr., and since you are diabetic,  you should consult a dietitian if you are training.  But I hope the above helps to answer your question.</description>

		<description>I agree that these foods are good, but....there are two on the list that at least for me are taboo. I&#039;m really allergic to almonds and I&#039;m especially intollerant to dairy products. Before you go out and buy all these great foods you may want to have some food tests done to see if you have problems with any of them.</description>
