Oatmeal Kitchen Sink Pancakes
I’ve been asked for the recipe for my oatmeal pancakes. You’ll see that they have everything in them that you need for a post workout meal, or a few hours before a workout. I hope you enjoy them. Warning, they have NO sugar in them. The thought is that with pure maple syrup, you don’t need the sugar
But, feel free to add some sugar if you don’t use syrup.
Oatmeal Kitchen Sink Pancakes
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups Uncooked Old-Fashioned Oatmeal
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Rice Milk with Vanilla OR 1 Cup Skim Milk
1 Cup Frozen Blueberries OR 3 Bananas
1 Cup Nuts Of Your Choice
1/4 Cup Ground Flax Seed
6 Eggs or 1 Cup Egg Whites
Beat eggs until they are frothy.
Mix all ingredients together in a food processor. If you like chunkier pancakes, you can leave the nuts out, or grind them a little first, then mix them in by hand after all of the other ingredients are processed.
You may need to add some water to get the consistency you want.
Make pancakes, flip, and eat
